Introducing ClackPoint

January 20th, 2010 by Neil Stratford

We are excited to announce that ClackPoint, the real-time collaboration platform, is now part of the Voxeo family!

ClackPoint is a multi-channel collaboration platform supporting access from a variety of different sources, including web, instant messaging and traditional phone access. It provides several services including slide sharing, group notepad editing, polling and both text and voice based conferencing.

Built from the ground up as a platform it’s easy to integrate ClackPoint functionality into both existing and new applications. While we are not quite ready for a full API launch, we do have several gadgets built on the platform that are available for you to integrate today, including Google Friend Connect, Ning and Google Wave.

The current service will continue to operate as normal, although you will notice some new branding and we hope improved performance as we integrate with Voxeo.

We are excited to be a part of Voxeo and look forward to accelerating development with the new resources and great Voxeo platform available to us.
