Pivotal Labs Tech Talk
Jason Goecke VP of Innovation – Voxeo Labs will be presenting at the Pivotal Labs Tech Talk scheduled for April 14, 2010 in San Francisco.
In this talk Jason will focus on the technology used to build the stack that enables these communications APIs in the cloud. He will discuss the use of media servers, SIP Servlets and Java/JRuby to create a standards-based stack for large scale real-time cloud communications that go beyond voice into multi-modal: SMS, instant messaging, and other communications tools. Jason will also talk about Torquebox and its use of Mobicents for building similar services.
Finally, he will round out the session by explaining how to use these architectures to build communications applications with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and Sinatra.
