The San Francisco Ruby Meetup Group
Jason Goecke, VP of Innovation – Voxeo Labs will be participating in The San Francisco Ruby Meetup Group on February 17, 2010. Don’t miss out! Jason will be giving a demonstration of how to get up and running with multi-channel communications applications in under 10 minutes!
Session description:
Get your application out of the browser by adding voice, instant messaging, and SMS using Tropo’s cloud communications platform and APIs. You can be up and running in less than 10 minutes, and we’ll demonstrate that live. Watch as we go from blank editor to a live multi-channel communications app on Heroku in under 10 minutes.
Jason will also be participating in the April 21, 2010 meetup, giving a detailed look at Tropo’s API and how to build applications with Ruby.
Session description:
Tropo makes it easy for you to quickly add voice, instant messaging (IM), and SMS to your applications, using the programming languages and tools you already know using a web services API and our Ruby library that consumes the API. We will cover how the API works as well as provide examples of how to use this to create applications with robust speech recognition, text to speech, transcription, conferencing, instant messaging, and SMS to your applications.
Jason will be tweeting using twitter.com/jsgoecke and our twitter.com/tropo account. Please follow us to stay up-to-date.
