Will You Join In Olle’s Crusade for VoIP and IPv6?

March 7th, 2011 by Dan York

Olle Johansson is a man on a mission… he wants to do all he can to help move the world of VoIP over into IPv6. To that end, he’s been writing a great bit about SIP and IPv6, setting up a Facebook page for SIP/IPv6 discussion, posting some slides, joining the weekly VUC phone calls and generally doing all he can to agitate for more people to be paying attention to using VoIP and SIP over IPv6.

I’m definitely a fan of the work… and you’ll see some more news on that soon. Meantime, if you’d like to join Olle’s crusade, he’d love to have you “Like” his SIPv6 Facebook page, follow his sipv6 Twitter account, join the SIP-implementors mailing list, test your products with IPv6 at the next SIPit event (in April), and generally help push the SIP community (and the SIP Forum in particular) to do more with IPv6…
