Ever wondered who comes to Voxeo University or what a typical class is like? We dropped in on a session this week in our Orlando office to see what was going on. This week, Voxeo’s Drew Allen has been leading a series of VoiceObjects trainings, which started with a two-day VoiceObjects overview, followed by a three-day course in Developing VoiceObjects Applications using VO Desktop. Voxeo University typically offers the two classes in succession as the first builds the foundation for the second. VU attendees have a variety of backgrounds, and while many are seasoned developers, no previous programming knowledge is required for many courses, including these two VoiceObjects sessions (though previous programming experience can be helpful for the Developing VoiceObjects Applications course). Attendees often include consultants, voice and video application developers and systems integrators.
